当美国九年来首次提高利率的话，两件事情可能发生。一方面，美元将进一步上涨，因为加息将被视为美国经济实力的标志。另一方面，鉴于金融市场有 “预测”这类型政策举措的趋向，我们也可以看到一个美元的调整，因为它已经因为人们期待加息而有了相当大的涨幅。交易者倾向于“买于传言，卖于事实”。从技术面来看，美元价格似乎有点过高了（超买）。
When the US will raise interest rates for the first time in nine years two things can happen. The dollar will rise further because it will be regarded as a sign of strength of the US economy. But given the fact financial markets tend to ‘predict’ these kind of policy moves, we could also see a correction for the US dollar, because it has enjoyed a pretty large ride up on the expectation of an interest rise. Traders tend to ‘buy on the rumor and sell on the fact’. From a technical perspective the dollar seems to be a little overpriced (overbought).
