The 2020 "Belt and Road" Beautiful Countryside Forum kicked off in Longnan,

Gansu province on Dec 22. Themed on "Building Beautiful Countryside through the Belt and Road Initiative", the forum discussed cross-regional cooperation for common prosperity in rural areas. It featured a main forum held at its permanent venue in Kangxian county and three parallel forums.

12月22日，2020“一带一路”美丽乡村论坛在陇南康县长坝镇开幕。本次论坛以“牵手‘一带一路’ 共建美丽乡村”为主题，由一个主论坛、三个分论坛组成。论坛上，国内外专家学者和嘉宾聚焦乡村、共话美丽，齐心勾画美丽乡村的未来图景，协力开启合作建设的崭新征程。

Gansu’s annual grain output exceeds 12 million tons

Gansu’s total grain output has hit a record high this year! The province this year saw a grain harvest of 12.02 million metric tons from around 2.6 million hectares of fields, up 3.4% year-on-year thanks to improved agricultural technology and favorable policies.

喜讯！甘肃粮食总产量创历史新高！甘肃2020年播种粮食面积3957万亩，总产量1202万吨，比上年增加39万吨，增幅3.4%，这是甘肃粮食总产量在连续多年1100万吨的基础上，首次突破1200万吨大关，创历史新高。

甘肃肃南：G213线东山隧道掘进正酣

Workers are busy constructing the Dongshan tunnel, part of the Qilian Mountains Sunan-Qilian section of the G213 national highway. The tunnel will link Gansu’s Sunan Yugur autonomous county and Qinghai’s Qilian county and is expected to boost regional development when it opens in June, 2021.

寒冬时节，在祁连山深处的G213线肃祁公路建设项目“东山”隧道施工现场，工人师傅们不畏严寒加班加点、轮番作业，隧道开挖掘进、轨道建设等各项工程紧张有序进行，确保2021年6月份实现通车。

G213线北起内蒙古策克，南至云南磨憨，甘肃境内经酒泉、肃南后与青海祁连相连接，张掖肃南至青海祁连段是其重要的组成部分。公路建成后，将打通肃南县至青海通道，使青海省与甘肃省西部连成一体，加快发展通道经济和旅游产业。

A record-breaking year in oilfield production! The annual crude oil and gas equivalent of Changqing Oilfield in Gansu province exceeded 60 million metric tons as of 10 am on Dec 27, setting a record for annual production of oil fields in China.

截至12月27日上午10时，中国石油长庆油田年产油气当量突破6000万吨，达到6000.08万吨，其中原油2451.80万吨、天然气445.31亿立方米，创造了我国油气田产量历史最高纪录。
