        12月18日，送审过程一波三折的电影《一步之遥》如期公映。不少观众感慨该片大大低于预期，更有影评人慨叹道：“送给姜文的掌声，居然在《一步之遥》开场时就用完了。”面对汹涌而来的质疑，姜文在接受澎湃新闻专访时表示，“显然这不是一部低俗的电影，如大家所记，我姜文可能什么都是，但就不是一个低俗的人，但是我也很难做到毛主席他老人家说的，“脱离了低级趣味的人”。电影《一步之遥》之于姜文，“是一个赎救，一个通过受难，让自己的灵魂得到升华的一个故事”。

        

        Gone with the Bullets – A Wen Jiang Movie

        On Dec. 18, Gone with the Bullets was released as scheduled despite its exhausting process of review. However, many audiences thought it far below expectations, and some movie critics even sigh, “We cannot find another chance to give our applause to Mr. Jiang Wen except when the movie starts.” Amid a barrage of questions, Jiang Wen said to our reporter, “Obviously, this is not a vulgar movie. As you know, I could be anybody but a vulgarian. But it’s hard for me to be a man ‘free from babbittry’ as required by our former President Mao Zedong. ” To Jiang Wen, Gone with the Bullets is more like salvation, a story that sublimes his spirits through suffering.
