今天是全国低碳日，本周也是第35个全国节能宣传周。近年来，中国政府大力倡导节能低碳生活方式，绿色出行、节水节电、“光盘行动”、垃圾分类已经成为社会风尚。节能环保，需要你我他一起行动，更需要形成习惯，胜在长久。今年也是《巴黎协定》达成十周年。中国始终做世界绿色发展的坚定行动派和重要贡献者，推进碳达峰碳中和是我们对国际社会的庄严承诺。我们愿同各方一道，积极应对气候变化，共同守护地球家园。

Today, June 25, is National Low-Carbon Day and this week is the 35th National Energy Conservation Week. In recent years, we’ve witnessed rigorous effort made by the Chinese government in advocating energy conservation and a low-carbon lifestyle. Green transportation, saving water and electricity, the “Clean Plate” initiative and garbage sorting have become prevailing trends in the society. Energy conservation and environmental protection starts with the effort of you and me, but thrives when it becomes our lifelong habit. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement. China is always a staunch doer and important contributor to global green development. Working toward peaking carbon dioxide emissions and achieving carbon neutrality is our solemn commitment to the international community. China will work with all parties to actively respond to climate change and jointly protect Planet Earth that we all call home.

总台央视记者：日前，金砖主席国巴西发布《金砖国家关于伊朗领土遭受军事打击后中东安全局势升级的联合声明》。中方对此有何评论？

CCTV: Brazil, the BRICS Chair, released the BRICS Joint Statement on the Escalation of the Security Situation in the Middle East Following Military Strikes on the Territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. What’s China’s comment?

郭嘉昆：金砖国家是维护世界和平稳定，捍卫国际公平正义的进步力量。针对当前中东地区紧张局势，金砖国家发表联合声明，呼吁停火止战、对话协商，为推动中东局势降温发挥了建设性作用。

Guo Jiakun: BRICS is a force for progress that champions global peace and stability and defends international fairness and justice. Following the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, BRICS released a joint statement calling for ceasefire, dialogue and consultation, which played a constructive role for deescalation in the region.

习近平主席在去年金砖喀山峰会上指出，要建设“和平金砖”，做共同安全的维护者。中方愿同金砖国家一道，继续为维护中东地区和平稳定作出努力。

At last year’s BRICS Summit in Kazan, President Xi Jinping said BRICS should be “committed to peace” and “act as defenders of common security.” China stands ready to work with other BRICS countries to continue working for a peaceful and stable Middle East.

法新社记者：有报道说中国领导人将不会出席在巴西举行的金砖国家领导人会晤。外交部能否介绍原因或者具体情况？

AFP: Just a follow-up on BRICS, according to some media reports, Chinese leader will not attend the BRICS Summit in Brazil. Can the Foreign Ministry share the reason for this or any details of the situation?

郭嘉昆：中国和巴西同为世界性大国和全球南方代表性力量。中方支持巴西担任今年金砖国家主席国，共同推动“大金砖合作”不断取得新成果。关于中方出席金砖国家领导人会晤情况，我们将适时发布消息，请你保持关注。

Guo Jiakun: China and Brazil are two major countries in the world and representative members in the Global South. China supports Brazil’s BRICS presidency and will jointly move forward greater BRICS cooperation. On China’s attendance at the BRICS Summit, we will release information in due course. 伊拉克如道电视台记者：中方对以色列和伊朗停火持何立场？中方将对伊朗发挥什么作用，防止地区重陷战乱？

Rudaw Media Network: What is China’s position on the ceasefire between Israel and Iran? The second question is what role will China play with Iran to prevent the region from falling back into war?

郭嘉昆：关于第一个问题，中方高度关注中东局势发展，希望实现持续、有效的停火，推动中东地区实现和平与稳定。

Guo Jiakun: On your first question, China is following closely the developments in the Middle East. We hope to see a lasting and effective ceasefire and will work to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.

关于第二个问题，中伊两国人民传统友好。中方愿同伊方保持友好合作，造福两国人民，并为维护中东地区和平稳定注入积极因素。

On your second question, China and Iran enjoy traditional friendship between our peoples. China stands ready to maintain the friendly cooperation with Iran for the benefit of the two peoples and provide positive factors for peace and stability in the Middle East.

路透社记者：美国总统特朗普昨天称，中国可以继续从伊朗购买石油，希望中国也向美国购买大量石油。白宫随后澄清说，美国未改变或放松对伊朗的制裁。中方如何解读特朗普的言论？中方从伊朗进口了多少原油？

Reuters: U.S. President Trump said yesterday that China can continue to purchase oil from Iran and that he also hoped China would buy plenty of it from the United States. The White House has clarified that there was no change or relaxation of U.S. sanctions. How should China interpret Trump’s comment? How much of Iranian crude oil is China importing?

郭嘉昆：中国将根据自身国家利益，采取合理的能源保障措施。

Guo Jiakun: China will take energy supply measures that are right for China based on our national interests.

共同社记者：日本政府昨天称，中国在东海建设新设施，已就此向中方提出抗议，要求中方停止单方面资源开发活动。中方对此有何评论？

Kyodo News: Japan’s government on Tuesday said China is installing new structure in the East China Sea and has lodged protest with China, asking Beijing to stop unilateral resource development activity. What’s China’s comment?

郭嘉昆：中方东海油气开发活动位于毫无争议的中方管辖海域，完全是中方主权权利和管辖权范围内的事情，中方不接受日方无端指责。中方坚持并致力于全面有效落实东海问题原则共识，希望日方同中方相向而行，争取早日重启两国政府间谈判。

Guo Jiakun: China’s oil and gas exploration activities in the East China Sea are conducted in undisputed waters under China’s jurisdiction. The matter falls completely under China’s sovereign rights and jurisdiction. China does not accept Japan’s unwarranted remarks. China upholds and remains committed to the comprehensive and effective implementation of the principled consensus on the East China Sea issue. We hope Japan will work in the same direction with China and make an effort to resume the intergovernmental negotiation between the two countries at an early date.

法新社记者：根据英国政府的一份报告，近年来中国的“间谍活动”有所增加。英外交大臣拉米向议会表示，英方投入了8亿美元调查此事。在当前中英关系背景下，发言人对此有何评论？

AFP: A report by the UK government found that Chinese spying has risen in recent years and Foreign Minister David Lammy has told parliament that his administration is investing US$800 million into the investigation as a result. Does China have a comment in the context of China-UK ties?

郭嘉昆：中英同为联合国安理会常任理事国和世界主要经济体，发展双边关系、加强互利合作，符合两国和世界利益。我要强调，中国坚持走和平发展道路，不对任何国家构成威胁，不干涉别国内政。中方愿在相互尊重、妥处分歧的基础上发展中英关系，但我们绝不接受任何污蔑抹黑和无端指责。

Guo Jiakun: Both China and the UK are permanent members of the UN Security Council and major economies in the world. To grow bilateral ties and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation is in the interest of the two countries and the rest of the world. Let me stress that China is committed to the path of peaceful development. We never pose a threat to any country, nor do we interfere in other countries’ internal affairs. China stands ready to grow its ties with the UK based on mutual respect and proper management of the differences, but we never accept any smear or groundless accusation.
