政治社会学暑期导读/讲习班

简介

二〇二〇年，在国外主流媒体呼吁“Take the State Back in”的同时，弗洛伊德之死又为社会对“State”的理解指向另一个极端。特别是民族主义与保守主义在欧洲与美国选举之中胜利与挑战，不得不让我们思考这些面向世界的基础问题：如何使得政治体系被组合与重构？超越民族国家之外还有哪些备选支配形式？谁是它的支配者，谁又是它的被支配者？

面对如上问题，政治社会学提供了一个强有力的分析工具，在近乎一百五十年的发展中，政治社会学的议题被充分地扩展。Max Weber指出，权力存在于行动者的能力“坚持不懈地履行自己的意志”。Weber似乎直截了当定义了一系列的条件：冲突偏好、影响力的分布不均、脱离支配关系的能力限制。基于以上不同的条件，大量不同的社会关系与资源描绘于独特的政治格局的建构中。政治社会学暑期导读/讲习班将从历史出发，探讨一些主流历史变迁中的政治秩序，诸如民族国家与帝国；探索民主国家与非民主国家的民族国家中的公民参与、社会动员与政治反应；政治转型与全球化对于政治关系重构的意义；以及一部分当代中国政治社会学研究。

本课程的目的在于介绍主流英美政治社会学理论与方法，并将其应用于分析古代与当代世界的政治行为、实践与发展。
