中国血防的一面旗帜

——中国血防纪念馆

中国血防纪念馆，是在原有的余江血防纪念馆的基础上改造升级得来的，余江血防纪念馆是1978年10月由余江县委、县政府兴建，收藏了大量珍贵的历史资料。2019年9月，被中宣部命名为“全国爱国主义教育示范基地”。

据《余江县血防志》记载：“血吸虫病在余江流行时间可能有三、四百年，而严重危害也有一、二百年，仅解放前30年间，全疫区被血吸虫病夺去生命的达29000人，毁灭村庄42个”。新中国诞生后，余江人民在中国共产党的领导下，开展了声势浩大的灭螺运动，历经10余年的艰苦奋斗，1958年取得了抗击血吸虫病的伟大胜利，余江县在全国血吸虫病防治工作战线上插上了第一面红旗——首先根除了血吸虫病，给祖国血吸虫病科学史上增添了新的一页，科学家们认为这是一个史无前例的创举。1958年6月30日，毛泽东同志读六月三十日人民日报，余江县消灭了血吸虫，浮想联翩，夜不能寐，欣然命笔提诗《送瘟神二首》，写下了“春风杨柳万千条，六亿神州尽舜尧”的不朽篇章。1978年10月，余江县委、县政府兴建了余江县“血防纪念馆”，馆内以大量珍贵的历史资料，全景式的展示了余江人民在中国共产党的领导下，克服重重困难，消灭血吸虫病、巩固血防成果的完整过程。

2018年12月14日，中国血防纪念馆在江西余江揭牌，该馆由原余江血防纪念馆升级改造完成。2019年，中国血防纪念馆对馆内硬件设施、服务等各方面进行了升级，充分利用资源优势，将纪念馆打造成一个集红色文化、科普教育、旅游研学为一体的中国血防红旗博览区4A级旅游景区。纪念馆坐落于鹰潭市余江区果喜大道，建筑面积2464平方米，为长方形四合院钢筋混凝土结构，建筑风格把现代融入古朴。纪念馆主体部分高12.66米，正门外廊两侧耸立8根高11米的主柱，柱顶额枋中央悬挂着铜质镏金“中国血防纪念馆”馆名，是由原国务院副总理、余江籍人士、近代中国著名记者和出版家邹韬奋的儿子—邹家华题写。

步入纪念馆，迎面而来的是一组动人心魄的雕塑：高举“一定要消灭血吸虫”大旗的劳动人民、挺立人群之前的党的干部、手持听诊器的血防医务人员，展现出干部群众与瘟神作斗争的英雄气概和磅礴力量。整个纪念馆的展厅依次分为序厅、血防展厅和尾厅，其中血防展厅分为瘟神肆虐、吹响号角、余江首捷、举国行动、合作共享五个部分，全景式地展示了我国血吸虫病防治历程与成就。

第一部分的主题是瘟神肆虐，主要介绍血吸虫病的危害。通过这一部分，我们可以了解到血吸虫病的千年历史和严重的危害以及近代科学对血吸虫病的研究。

正厅第二部分的主题是吹响号角，主要讲述党和政府对血防工作的部署。在这一部分陈列了当时中共中央、国务院关于血防工作的文件、指示等实物。

第三部分的主题是余江首捷，讲诉了1958年鹰潭市余江人民战天斗地，在全国率先消灭血吸虫病，勇夺第一面红旗的光辉历史。

正厅第四部分的主题是举国行动，主要全国血吸虫病防治历程及防治成效。

第五部分的主题是合作共享，主要介绍了关于血吸虫防治的国际交流和我国血防工作展望。

A Flag of China Schistosomiasis Control

——China Schistosomiasis Prevention and Control Memorial Hall

China Schistosomiasis Prevention and Control Memorial Hall was named "National Patriotism Education Demonstration Base" by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee in September, 2019. It was renovated and upgraded based on Yujiang Schistosomiasis Prevention and Control Memorial Hall, which was built by the Yujiang County Party committee and the county government in October 1978.

According to the “Schistosomiasis Prevention Annals of Yujiang County”, Schistosomiasis has been prevalent in Yujiang for 300 to 400 years, and has caused serious damage for 100 to 200 years. Between 1919 and 1949, schistosomiasis had killed 29,000 people and destroyed 42 villages in the whole affected area.

After the establishment of the People's Republic of China, the People of Yujiang, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, launched a massive oncomelania eradication campaign. After more than 10 years of hard work, Yujiang County first eliminated the disease, setting a model in schistosomiasis control in China.

The great victory was regarded as an unprecedented feat by scientists. Also, when Chairman Mao Zedong read in the Renmin Ribao of June 30, 1958 that schistosomiasis had been wiped out in Yujiang County, thoughts thronged his mind and he could not sleep. He penned two lu shi poems Farewell to the God of Plague in his happiness.

Yujiang Schistosomiasis Prevention and Control Memorial Hall, using a wealth of valuable historical materials, shows the complete process of overcoming numerous difficulties, eliminating schistosomiasis and consolidating the achievements in a panoramic view.

On December 14, 2018, China Schistosomiasis Prevention and Control Memorial Hall was inaugurated in Yujiang, Jiangxi. Taking advantages of abundant resources as well as upgraded facilities and services, the memorial hall has become a 4A tourist attraction of China Schistosomiasis Control Red Flag Exhibition area in 2019.

Located in Guoxi Avenue, Yujiang District, Yingtan City, the memorial hall is a rectangular quadrangle with reinforced concrete structure covering an area of 2464 square meters. The main part of the memorial hall is 12.66 meters high, with 8 main columns 11 meters high on both sides of the main entrance gallery. The Chinese name of “中国血防纪念馆” in copper gold hanging on the top of the column square is inscribed by Zou Jiahua, the former Vice Premier of the State Council, a person of Yu Jiang nationality, and the son of Zou Taofen, a famous journalist and publisher in modern China.

Walking into the memorial hall, you are first greeted by a set of inspiring sculptures: The working people are holding high the banner of "We Must Eliminate Schistosoma"; the Party officials are standing before the crowd; and the medical personnel are holding stethoscopes. These sculptures demonstrate the heroic spirit and boundless strength of the Party and the people fighting against the plague.

The exhibition hall of the memorial is divided into three parts in which the hall of schistosomiasis control using five parts panoramically shows the course and achievements of schistosomiasis control in China.

The Rampant God of Plague

The first part mainly introduces the harm of schistosomiasis. We can learn about the long history of schistosomiasis and its far-reaching harm as well as modern scientific research on it.

Campaign against Schistosomiasis

In this part, documents, instructions and other real objects on schistosomiasis control from the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council are displayed to describe the deployment of the Party and government to the disease.

The First Victory by Yujiang County

The third part is about the great history that in 1958, the people in Yujiang, Yingtan were engaged in the campaign and first eliminated the disease, setting a model in schistosomiasis control in China.

Nationwide Campaign

The course and effect of schistosomiasis control in China are introduced in this part.

Cooperation and Sharing

The last part tells the international exchange on schistosomiasis control and the prospect of it in China.
